I think you need to develop the narrative for this idea a bit more as it was not super clear what would actually happen in the video. Think about how you could use mise en scene in a suggestive/ symbolic way. Yes it is a good idea to keep the background simple but try to think abut how you could use other parts of mes. I like the idea of a split screen. You will need to film this very carefully. if you decided to to it talk to me about how to best record it. There are some very good ideas that use spilt screen. i think I showed you one when we were looking at class and status.
